More Floor

Today, the rest of the flooring was installed. Not the carpeting, which comes near the end of the project, but I think all of the LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is down. They were able to address some of the floor squeaks, but one of them would have required digging deeper into the floor to fix. They offered to do it for an additional cost, and probably could have done it without taking us off schedule, but we decided the squeak doesn’t really bother us and adds character.

It looks like all of the nosing is in place (that’s the stuff at the edges of steps), but there are still transitions to take care of and trim.

Cabinetry is scheduled to be installed next week. Doors and trim are scheduled for the week after that, so I’m thinking there might not be any work to do tomorrow, and no work was planned for Friday due to the holiday. Maybe we’re done for this week.
