Speeding Up

I was told that from this point on, things really start coming together very quickly. I think lots of work is done every day, but on some days, the work is more noticeable than on others. The progress today was visually striking.

The handrail around the stairway has been finished for a while, but now they’ve replaced the handrail descending the steps.

The decorative shelves have been installed into the kitchen wall cutout. It’s covered and protected for now.

The end of the kitchen peninsula has been finished and is looking great.

Shelves have been installed in our hallway nook.

More colors are being added as the painting continues.

Our walk-in closet is filling out. Two of the hangar rods have been installed, and all of the drawers are now in.

It’s all coming together quickly now. We’ve been living in our basement for nearly 3 months now, and I can’t tell you how excited we are to be moving out of there and into our new home. We’ve just gotta hang in there for a couple more weeks, and maybe a few days more.
